At Grow and Rise, we recognize the importance of establishing small libraries to foster a culture of reading. These libraries will serve as vital sources of knowledge for both children and adults in the areas where our organization operates. The lack of resources available for individuals in these communities makes the need for these libraries even more crucial. In July 2023, despite limited resources, we achieved a significant milestone by launching a library shack project that has already sparked inspiration in children.
We are now seeking additional stakeholders to help us establish more small libraries and instill a love for reading in the community. We are reaching out to various organizations to request book donations, as we aim to fill these libraries with books that children will love and that will encourage them to dream big. Our ultimate vision is to establish digital library centers for kids to keep up with the times. By joining forces with you and our existing stakeholders, we can ensure that children in marginalized areas have the same educational opportunities as their peers.
